Get it wrong. That’s the useful part.

These are real questions from the bank. Pick any answer — including a wrong one — and see the explanation your child would get.

Every wrong choice has its own explanation — not just the right one.
Our approach

What every exam we publish has in common.

The exam changes. The standard doesn't. Whatever test your child is preparing for, these six things hold.

Written from scratch

Every question and reading passage is original work, written for this product and reviewed against the official scope for that exam. Nothing is licensed, scanned or adapted from another publisher.

Full length, properly timed

The real question count and the real clock. A shortened test tells you very little, and tells a parent even less.

Every wrong answer explained

Not just the correct choice. Each incorrect option carries its own explanation of the specific misunderstanding that leads there.

Forms that compare

Within an exam, the forms are calibrated against each other, so a score on the third sitting can be honestly compared with the first. Otherwise progress is guesswork.

Results go to the parent

Students see a neutral finishing screen. The report goes to you. A score read alone, without context, does more harm than good at thirteen.

Accommodations respected

Extra time can be set to match an IEP, 504 or ELL plan, and the conditions used are printed on the report so results are never compared across different settings.

How it works

Three steps, whichever exam you're preparing for.

1

Try a section at no cost

One full scored section, real timing and real format. You see exactly what you would be buying before you pay anything.

2

Sit the exam at home

Full length on any computer. It can be paused and resumed with the exact time remaining if the afternoon falls apart.

3

Read the report

Section scores, performance at each level of difficulty, and a walk through every question with the reasoning behind each answer.

Simple pricing. Pay per exam.

Pay per exam with no subscription and nothing to cancel. Every exam we publish is priced the same way.

What we don't claim.

Test preparation is full of promises no one can keep. Here is where we stop, so you can judge the report you receive.

We do not predict an official score

New York does not publish the table that converts answers into official scaled scores. Anyone claiming to predict one is guessing.

Our percentile is an estimate

No official score distribution is published. Ours is constructed from published admissions figures and is always reported as a range.

A single section is not a full result

Admissions cutoffs are composite scores. A one-section sitting receives no composite and no cutoff comparison, because implying one would mislead.

We do not promise an outcome

No practice exam can. What it can do is ensure that test day is not the first time your child meets the format.

Get started

Try a full section before you pay.

One complete scored section with real timing and the real format — the same product you would be buying, not a handful of easy sample questions.

Prefer to sit an exam under real conditions?

A proctored exam in a quiet room, with staff on hand, is closer to test day than any kitchen table. We recommend Huntington Learning Center of Bay Ridge, 514 86th St, Brooklyn, NY 11209.
